Pet washing is no longer a chore
Play and Spray
Problem: Enhance the bonding experience with your pet while giving them a bath. Current systems are not pet friendly, or the user is completely occupied
Overview
The Play and Spray is semi-automated. It is composed of
2 compartments:
1) Washing compartment:
◦ Pedal activated jets
◦ Hands-free cleaning
2) Drying compartment:
◦ Pedal activated blowers
◦ Flip down door

Brainstorming on each sub-system for a hands free pet washing process to allow pet owner to play with pet, and optimze pet wash experience
Shower compartment houses six showers using InjectAir technology combining water, soap and oxygen into each shower head
Dryer Compartment is seperated by an accordian door. Pet is air dried by warm air, allowing for hands free experience
Door latch locks the door closed, keeping the pets in the compartment
Process
Market research determined that the most popular pet wash choice was Semi-Automatic
Foot Activation Pedal are in both compartments to activate the shower and dryer. Pressure of water / air can be adjusted by force exerted on pedal
Ramp door folds down to allow pet to easily walk upto the pet wash system eliminating need to lift up pet
Removable filters catch loose fur to allow for easy maintenance
